San José mine has exploration works made on the surface by El
Fideicomiso de Fomento Minero (a governmental mining agency from
Mexico), the values found are 20 grams of gold and 1000 grams of
silver per metric tonne. This mine has no underground exploration, the
reserves in the surface of only one hill were estimated in about 6000
troy ounces of gold and 260,000
ounces of silver. This mine is located only to 15 miles from the
capital of the state (Culiacan) and it is accessible by car. |
